Apply nowJoin the Amethix engineering team to help us build APIs and products that help businesses in sectors like pharmaceuticals, fintech, energy, and more. The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder who enjoys building and optimizing data systems. The Data Engineer will support our data scientists and software engineers on the data initiatives driven by Amethix for our clients and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is always consistent.
You fit this role if you have
- Advanced working SQL knowledge, experience with relational and non relational databases
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, architectures and data sets
- Strong analytic skills working with structured and unstructured datasets
- Experience with data tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, etc.
- Experience with cloud services like EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift and knowledge of on-premise equivalents
- Experience with languages like Python or Scala (knowledge of Rust is very appreciated)
